If Martin can play another 20-30 Tests, he will take the mantle, surely?

HAYDEN
Matthew Haydens advice for Phil
'' Must be prepared to put away some of his pet shots .""
MAL
Mals advice to Phil
""Dont listen to Matt."'
This is how to play to balls that are getting him out behind the wicket
Dont poke, throw the bat, and try and hit them over point ,slips or gully for 4 or 6
The field is up, get a few easy boundaries
Sooner or later the slips will have to man 3rd man and point
Then the edges MIGHT get thru the weakened slips cordon as well
IF Phil is confused I suggest getting out the videos of his first few innings
He will see how he made a plethora of runs
He will also see that my advice is how he USED to play
