Lets see if NZ bowlers make the best of the conditions, if so, never know we may see them back at the crease just before stumps

You gotta feel for Chris Martin some times. How can someone be so bad. And make Glenn McGrath look like Don bradman

Lol what a stupid post. Great fielding and then a bloody good quick release that just missed the stumps. Would have been safe anyway IMO

16 TESTS
29 INNINGS
1048 RUNS
36-14 AVE

The disMisALs or not outs

1 NOT OUT
1 RUN OUT
2 LBW [not to a fasty bowler as yet]
2 BOWLED
24 CAUGHT

24 Caughts are :

5 CAUGHT BEHIND
5 1ST SLIP
5 NOT KEEPER OR SLIPS
4 GULLY
3 3RD SLIP
2 2ND SLIP

Phil has been dismissed 27 times by Test bowlers [excluding the not out + run out]
He has been caught by the keeper and slips and gully a staggering 19 times [about 70%]

HAYDEN
Matthew Haydens advice for Phil
'' Must be prepared to put away some of his pet shots .""

MAL
Mals advice to Phil
""Dont listen to Matt."'
This is how to play to balls that are getting him out behind the wicket
Dont poke, throw the bat, and try and hit them over point ,slips or gully for 4 or 6
The field is up, get a few easy boundaries
Sooner or later the slips will have to man 3rd man and point
Then the edges MIGHT get thru the weakened slips cordon as well

IF Phil is confused I suggest getting out the videos of his first few innings
He will see how he made a plethora of runs
He will also see that my advice is how he USED to play

Make that
30 innings
20 times caught by keepers slips and gully
