Did NT get a gig on its own merit this year? Or does it continue to get a gig because it is the AFL's pet project?

Bzzt wrong
Original format only had two QAFL sides in, Tony Frawley then jumped up and down and said we are a special case and we want in. Grey Morris wrote about it in November 2010 in tata great peer reviewed tome, the NT News. Grey, as only he can, lauded Tony for standing up for NT rights and ensuring that they were part of the Foxtel Cup, they only came 5th in the QAFL in 2010.
This year they definately earned a spot, well "earned" with respect to a competition that would best be described as Victorian Amateurs Div 1 Standard.
