If you thought that dropping a dollar is a win then with your skill in mathematics I'd make thousands out of you before you went bankrupt. There'd be one winner but it wouldnt be you!

I could imagine this.
Johno goes home to the wife after a day at the races.
"Darling. Ive got good news and Ive got bad news"
"The good news is I won money today. The bad news is there is a thousand less dollars in our bank account."
Wife: "You spanker!"

Kind of like getting $19 back when going $10 each way on a horse. Not too bad.

From memory the Lotteries Commission brought in a new division about 6 months ago, where they're paying where they previously weren't (not sure if perhaps its 3 numbers or something like that). So although your return didn't cover the cost of the ticket, 9 months or so ago you wouldn't have won anything at all.

Families and bust ups before Christmas.

Should make for an interesting Christmas Day. Wonder how much beer I can drink for breakfast so I don't get involved?

As your interwebs advisor, I would recommend a sober day.

Negotiated a new phone plan for a Samsung GS2 with a sales manager. Talked my way into a 12-month contract that cut the handset repayments in half and waved the upgrade free. Was bloody chuffed until it was transferred to the accounts bloke to formalise it, but who then ****** up the details, couldn't get the sales manager back on the phone, and then told me I'd have to go into a store to re-negotiate.

I lost my shit.
