I bring it up because it was so far out of line and out of context that it goes very close to being reportable, and is not something any club would condone. We need to look out for the young blokes in our own and other clubs. I've got no problems with a bit of chatter from the field to try and unsettle an inexperienced player, but come on fellas - this one's just not on.

Yeah definatly 50/50 game.
Looking at the forecast would expect the outfield to quicken up a fair bit considering we are expecting dry hot weather.
Thought we bowled really really well today, had lots of plays and misses, a couple of drop catches plus a clear caught behind off Dobbo given not out when he hadnt scored yet.
Craigmore first team we have played this year willing to get in behind the ball and build innings and bat in partnerships.
Not sure about the oval getting quicker has been slowish for over a year now and grass is thick, council don't cut it short.
Spoke with Dobbo and he didnt think he hit it and if he dis he would of walked.
Thought M Freeman was the pick of your bowlers and looks like he has picked up a yard of pace.
Would like to think we will chase the runs down. Runs on the board are worth alot though.

Mozza did bowl well of what I saw, openers were going along steadily before he got a couple quickly. Franky bowled very well in his opening spell, got the ball in some dangerous areas!
Super and I both heard a noise from that Dobbo incident, sounded woody, however the umpire is there to make the decision so dont blame him for not walking if he did hit it.
From here I would expect EPFC to win easily, if they can handle Al Hewitt they should pass the score comfortably.

No doubt??? Mmmmm....if the batsman in question, the non striker and the umpire amongst one or two others didnt hear anything then dont see how there can be no doubt he hit it! Spoke to Dob who i know very very well and is an honest bloke and he said he didnt hear or feel anything. Anyway, at the end of the day we felt like we could have been rolled for 150 at one stage but then again were in a position to muster 200 on a slow outfield so both teams will feel like they are in with a real sniff.

Hey Masha remember that day a CCC batsman nicked 2 behind and Merlin gave him not out both times, sometimes they go your way sometimes they don't.
That batsman must of looked like Sibbs that day!!!

The umpire can report the player for the language but only if he heard it.
How old was the player who made the comment?
