I would be surprised if West & Port who still remain supportive of the games would now back out but if in worst case scenario SANFL has just one club then I am sure the VFL / WAFL would get the extra sports.
It will be interesting to see how it is structured this year in regards to
- Time Slot
- How the minor league clubs are scheduled given the thumpings they received in 2011.

The whole "exposure" arguement is just stupid. Exposure to who and what ? Talent scouts scout all year not just at Foxtel Cup so from a players perspective that doesn't make sense. How does a club particpating benefit from exposure when they cannot use their sponsors.

I didn't even see any results in the media or on the Internet last year, but I didn't actively look for them.PhilH wrote:South have publically stated they are in if asked and they need only one of Eagles, Central or Norwood to decline to receive that invite.

How did the rescheduling of the Labrador game back to Adelaide instead of the Gabba pan out financially for those who had booked a trip via the club.
Were any fans or the club left out of pocket from the venue change?
Might have some impact on how the Roosters respond should they get an invite in 2012.

So, I assume it is only "The cup for those who choose to have anything to do with Foxtel", since it didn't rate a mention anywhere else.
