For some time I have stopped thinking of them or watching them with "reality" in mind.

Im driving from Croydon Park to Salisbury East
Leave 2-40 , to arrive at 3-15

I get to the corner of South and Regency heading east
There is a multitide of cars banked up at those lights because of roadworks
So I turn left knowing fool well that South and Grand Junction has been slow for about a year now
And slow it was again

I get on the Northern Freeway
As I get to the bridge over Port Wakefield Road, and to across from Mawson Lakes, the traffic is banked up
It takes me 10 minutes to get to the Hungry Jacks intersection, roadworks
I want to turn right and sneak thru Mawson Lakes to Main North Road
But it was about a 3-4 light change

So I go up Salisbury Highway
Time is now 3-07, I might with all the luck get to Salisbury East just after 3-15
I turn tight at Kings Road, hoping go get pass the Train crossing
And Guess what
Roadworks on Kings Road
More delays
Eventually I get to Main North Road
And get to Salisbury East at 3-30

And what gave me the shits
Not the roadworks on South Road
Not the roadworks at Mawson Lakes
Yes the roadworks at Kings Road Parafield Gardens
It would be nice IF possible not to have 2 lots of roadworks in the same areas in close proximity
Everyone who uses the same route to get home or commute to and fro, gets analed twice

The pre game stuff doesnt actually influence when the game starts, its just something shown in the lead up to the game, by Foxtel.

Wasn't quite the line I was taking with that one, more to the point that the same thing could happen in Adelaide and it would barely get a mention.

Plus, it's not like it's a natural disaster affecting thousands or anything - and given that a heap of the patients have alzheimers or dimentia, they don't understand what all the fuss is about - and quite frankly, neither do I.
