You could throw the gloves to just about any batsman who has ever played for Australia and they would have been as good behind the stumps. That's Haddin's problem. He can't keep!

Yeah but we are talking about his batting !

Great shot Marsh, plays across the line to a ball straight on middle stump. Er Arh ? Whats wrong with playing with a straight bat ???

I tend to agree, our batsmen are absolutely useless.

Have 4 blokes in your top 7 well and truly over the age of 30 and watch them all retire leaving massive gaps in the side.

At the expense of winning Test matches? Win whilst you can. The next generation might be crap so while you have blokes capable play them. If the next generation are any good waiting won't hurt them. Mike Hussey has gone alight after having to serve his time in the first class arena. Pick the best players available regardless of age. If the younger players want a game earn it, they shouldn't be gifted games because they are younger than better players who happen to be a bit older.

I'm going all in on the trifecta ...

- most wickets in a Test day
- lowest Test score ever
- team that scores the lowest Test score ever wins the match
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

How many sides have been 9 for 24 and still been in the box seat to win the match? This is intriguing Test cricket.
