I have no sympathy.. good enough to play at the level, good enough to get beaten up by the ol' skool bully!

Def a good test for your young fellas but its a massive diff coming from b grade to a grade let alone coming up against the best side of the last decade..but hey anything could happen..after all look who won the flag lastyear..
We did well to get through 58 overs, the going was tough, outfield was very heavy, we'll be better for it having to survive with two of our better bats not playing.
I'll fly the flag and say Johnny only bowling 4 overs and the no. 1 slow option not there the second Saturday and fielding with 10 didn't help our cause

Doubt he felt much like a bully when 3 catches went down in 3 balls off his bowling on Sunday.....

Had they been 4 1st innings wickets then yes.. but like you said, you dont know the circumstances of the wickets etc - i.e. batsman having a slog etc.

From all reports DJ was sharper than Justin, Scotty bowled in good area's, gave you the chance to have a go but if you mis-hit, you were gone. I'm not saying we're world beaters but it was good to see us bat with composure and just nut it out. The outfield was far slower after the rain during the latter part of the week also.
Let us have a little moral victory please Oz you saddist, we couldn't even get your team-mates in the club with some free piss by the way.

I realise you didn't make a statement it was your bowling, but watching the game I thought it was you. Anyway, just making stuff up is perfectly acceptable these days apparently.
