Ingle Farm, then Henley, then AV.

I find it hard to believe that SHOC would be sandbaggers.

i concur..dont forget they won the div7r as well..no lack of depth

and their 5th grade made the G.F.
Edwardstown's under 18's are in the G.F. tomorrow, most of them go to sacred heart college and next year will be lining up for SHOCS. So i wouldn't have thought depth would be a problem for them next year

SAAFL need to show some gumption here and enforce divisional parity.

It comes back to the same old argument, there should be a C and D grade competition don't ya think??

think you will find that the league is already looking at that(div8)
that has been raised before but again was ruled out when strong clubs said no
if that is the case its time for the league to set the agenda and enforce what they think will be the best for the whole saafl not just some of the league

only thing with this is that some of the sides that have a's and b's would cop an absolute hiding each week. i.e flinders uni. plus im sure there would be some genuine floggings in the C,D grade comp as well due to clubs depths being of varying degrees of quality. i still think if a side wins a flag they should be made to go up rather than have the choice. unless it can be proven that they will be markedly weaker the next year.

Tosser might be able to give his opinion on this but i reckon SHOC's would stay in D7 only to avoid getting there arses kicked by Blacks and Trinity in 2012. :)

agree with you but i believe the concept of the div 8 was for all the c and d grade teams to stay in the one division
their would be no promotion or relegation system
that then would mean teams like henley and uni shocs would leave the division they were in and go into 8
off top of my head not sure how many clubs would make up this division but i would have thought their would be enough
imo the clubs would endorse this concept which would help, not only financially but also with help ect for the clubs

Wouldn't there be to many clubs for the one division. I beleive div 7 and 8 should be C and D grades from the highest div to the lower. Div 1 C grade shouldnt be playing against Div 6 C Grade.

It would be nice to dish out some pain that was handed out to us during the 1stXVIII days. we'll take any win against SHOC, whatever the grade.

I'd love to agree with you Sprint but I had a look at them in the GF and they will be more than competitive if they come up just as the 3 sides this year were. Having said that, they certainly gave my school some hidings back in the day so would love to inflict some pain on them if we get the chance.

Great to see so many faces up at Ingle Farm last night. Lots of new recruits and alot of the old faces returning. Quite exciting for next year, everything in place so bring on pre season i say!!

Tossers are making the trip down to Mt Gambier and have a few ideas for this years batch of "virgins".... always makes for a great weekend!

Couldn't agree more BFG. A quality core group of players and some good recruiting, already well and truly on the way, will be a complete different team next year. We realise div 7 will not be easy, but teams be wary, Ingle Farm will turn it around next year!!

Fringe B/C graders coming your way, hope all goes well & can get out of DIV 7.. Dont want to be like Mawson Lakes & be stuck there for a long time

Para Hills rubbing their hands together on this 1... if rumored 10-15 players going, of which 60-70% still have subs outstanding @ $200 a pop? At least 1 owes 2 years & played 15 games in 2 years ( 1 this year ) So i think PH will be waiting for the forms to come in & send back un financial

clubs require more volunteers to facilitate a C grade comp cos both AsBsCsDs all might play away and then things get tough

plus a clubs d-grade side could be posted elsewhere at a totally different ground from the Cs then it gets worse

I hope u get your money out of these blokes. As far as i know you can only hold them back for the year just gone, not the one before

Have heard the former Central United coach Paul Niven has a interview this week at Central united for the coaches role. As far as i was aware, he was pretty tied up with Ingle Farm over the last couple of years.
With Ingle Farm a lay down for next seasons flag i thought he might of hung around there.
Would Central United go down this path again? Y did Niven move on in the first place from United?

Ingle farm a lay down for flag? Would love for them to win 1 as it's been a while. But I'd say div 7 won't be easy and are still a chance of staying up
