Why wouldn't they?
If catering to that perception allows them to have night footy against Port, Norwood, Sturt or North and getting a few thousand extra people through the gates every year as opposed to not catering to that perception giving them no night footy.
Glenelg aren't in the business to improve the perception of Central supporters, they're in the business to get more people to Glenelg Oval.
I don't even think Central are even worried about trying to improve the perception of Central supporters so why should Glenelg?
I perceive that all as common sense by Glenelg.
And as for further ammo like someone said, give me a break.
I could just imagine the Bays and Central in another Grand Final.
Chris Gowens to James Gowens before the game: "Mate, this is all a bit boring, I don't know if I can be bothered trying today"
James to Chris: "But the Glenelg football club is exactly the same as our very own CEO in that they all admit there's a perception about our fans"
Chris: "Well stuff me, I'm going to go out there and really try today now!"
