Thoroughly agree with your assessment on players 'rumoured' to be on the move at season's end, Boon-eye, as too Hitchcock over Ebert.

Nobody likes to see the actual death of their cashcow now, do they??
FULLY agree Booney. You're spot on. Can't believe Hitchcock gets a gig ahead of Ebert.

Your guess is as good as mine LMcQ.Who'd want to be making a living in our forward line at the minute??
I'm surprised he hasn't crushed vertebrae in his neck watching the ball go over his head!
There's only one worse place to be than in our forward line right now, and that's in our back 6.

It's also easy to forget that Ebert has had a knee recon too within the last 12mths, albeit the LARS surgery. Who knows how he's travelling with that at the minute?? No obvious signs of limitations, but.......??

Jason Cripps was on the radio the other week and said Ebert hasn't been given the chance to play in the midfield due to lacking the aerobic capacity required.
The LARS surjery hindered his pre-season severely, and Cripps indicated had he had a proper full pre-season then he would've most likely been given an opportunity in the midfield.
He is no benefit to the side jumping on the ball and not being able to keep up with the play or running out of puff after only a couple of efforts.

Bollox he's had cameo's in the middle all year, esp early on in particular Cows game played a quarter-ish in the middle and did alright. Had a few goes after that and did fa. Not an AFL midfielder in my book by a long way. Would love to be proved wrong tho.

I can understand it when we had a gun midfield early on in his career, but in this day & age where opposition teams load up behind the ball, a bloke who can roost 60m over that line should be utilised. Williams killed this lad's career and hurt the Club badly at the same time. Same goes for Salter. The lad is a natural forward, but let's play him down back.

70 goals is a bit of a harsh expectation LMcQ, given that LeCras or Milne have never reached that mark and Brad Johnson did just once in 17yrs.
