Yes, and as per 99% of Rucci's crap, he either didn't check his basic facts or "chose" to deliberately leave them out of his trashy article (as is his way). The rubbish he referred to was adddressed on the CDFC forum.
"The article in The Advertiser focussed on the 2008 Annual Report. In particular the expenses incurred by "seminars" ($778,196) and "publication costs" ($685,186).
At the 2008 AGM the club released another document for members stating that these classifications were incorrect and that those figures should have been attributed to other expenses notably "other direct football costs*" (seminars being one small part of the football department) and "other fundraising costs*" (printing being one small part of marketing/fundraising). The error was corrected, transparency ensued and members accepted the Annual Report. It's a pity the club didn't receive a phone call prior to the article appearing in The Advertiser otherwise it would have been easily explained as it was to members at the AGM.* as used in the 2010 Annual Report.
He calls himself a journalist. Surely there is some journalistic code of ethics, that he continually breaks. I already addressed his idiotic statement about not losing players, even faced with salary cap pressure - I actually counted about fifteen.
