Yes Para Hills will be heading down to Div 4. Time for the club to rebuild, from what ive heard from a few people there will be a mass exodus at the club next year, could be some coaches aswell. Its sad to see but maybe its for the best

Have to say the new chairman assured he would head us in the upward direction even mentioning div 2 ? hows that working for him ?
when leaving the game yesterday a long time player/now supporter said to me "maybe its a true indication of where the club is at now" i hope not but hard to argue with.

Mate alot of clubs have been in that position, all is not lost with Para Hills.
Yes this years been a tough one for the club & yes the club looks like heading to Div4.
If everyone at the club works together " in the same direction " the club will pull itself together & work its way back up.
Those that don't want to ( & trust me i know it- their known as WHITE-ANTS ) should be given the DCM quickly, if not they'll continue to hold your club back & eat away at what your trying to build.

They did push us all day, and i reckon they have definately improved since last time we played them. Saying that, we didnt play well but got the points - something that good sides need to do.

On PH mate, you guys need to stick at it. I have witnessed my club go through the same stuff, but we managed to stop the rot and get ourselves back up. 6 years ago, we were a game or 2 from D5. PH are a good club, and im sure with the right people in the right jobs, you can turn it around.

Joey Muscara has a tribunal hearing - Whats the go there? Alwyas thought he was a reasonably fair player so somewhat suprising to see.

Apparently the boundary umpire reported him for striking. Our player who supposedly got hit says he new nothing of what was going on so I think u will find he will play next week.

i think you will find the boundry umpire put down the wrong number, as the field umpire said the guy was reported for a hit on Rowey (#17) and the boundry umpire had put down on the report #14..... was very little in it anyway so doubt anything will come of it

AGree with Fist, great oval just a heap in the middle. If the weather holds off and the middle dries out then the uneven surface due to the pitch could be a bit dangerous with the mud hardening up with edges. Nearly ankle deep in some areas last weekend. Apart from that its in great condition around the sqaure. It actually surprised me. The other oval getting ready as their number oval next year i think looks like it will be a cracker as well.

i was very impressed with G&Gs facilities earlier in the year, by far the best away change rooms in div 3, i havent seen all the away rooms in the amatuer league but you would be hard pressed to find some better, was a warm day when we played out there half the centre square was soft and te other half was hard as a rock

Yeah golf buggy trip to current oval but change rooms designed for the commencement of the new oval. Hopefully oval should be in readiness for season 2012. Our old change rooms used to be transportable huts so fair upgrade in amenities!
