Have to say the new chairman assured he would head us in the upward direction even mentioning div 2 ? hows that working for him ?
when leaving the game yesterday a long time player/now supporter said to me "maybe its a true indication of where the club is at now" i hope not but hard to argue with.

Apparently the boundary umpire reported him for striking. Our player who supposedly got hit says he new nothing of what was going on so I think u will find he will play next week.

AGree with Fist, great oval just a heap in the middle. If the weather holds off and the middle dries out then the uneven surface due to the pitch could be a bit dangerous with the mud hardening up with edges. Nearly ankle deep in some areas last weekend. Apart from that its in great condition around the sqaure. It actually surprised me. The other oval getting ready as their number oval next year i think looks like it will be a cracker as well.

i was very impressed with G&Gs facilities earlier in the year, by far the best away change rooms in div 3, i havent seen all the away rooms in the amatuer league but you would be hard pressed to find some better, was a warm day when we played out there half the centre square was soft and te other half was hard as a rock
