At 3/4 time, we can now make it official - SEASON OVER!

This effort is on par with their pathetic, spineless effort against Melb and their last qtr disappearance act against Coll.

today shows our biggest problem is our consistency from quarter to quarter game to game

just look at our first three quarters last week against collingwood

Well, after each game so far this year I've honestly felt like we haven't been too far away from it. Tonight I feel like we are a long way from being anything close to a decent outfit.

Ordinary. Absolutely ordinary.

To me it just seems like they keep expecting someone else to do it. Newsflash - no one else is going to do it. We have no genuine matchwinners a la Judd at the moment. If you want to win, you have to do it yourselves, and do it as a team.

I tend to agree with you MM. Season over.

What rubbish!!!!!! What utter rubbish!!!

Thompson has to do it all. Our midfield is deplorable. It's more than that actually, it's disguting. And I don't care who is or isn't in there, it comes down to effort and your desire to win the loose ball.

The team is mentally weak, it's mainly guys like S. Thompson, Johncock and Rutten week in week out working their guts out, but there's probably only 6 or so others that join in match-to-match. Injuries can excuse a portion of some of this season's performances, but insipid stuff like today is just embarassingly bad.

Ball movement into the forward line was just woeful today and even before Walker was injured, the delivery was hopelessly bad.
Very few good leads, just bombs that rarely work.

Fortunately we have a very winnable match next week at Docklands against another struggler.
Not sure how Vince went yesterday, but surely he will be back if fit.

Vince smashed it yesterday. 30 odd possies and clear best on of WWT. Captain Hindsight says he should've been out there today, but you just never know with hammies.

Agreed mate, forward entries were terrible. I feel sorry for Tippett, he rarely gets a kick directed to his advantage.

Too much left to too few yet again today. Might be an exciting group but that alone won't win games.

Bernie good yesterday....doubt he would have made that much difference today though.

I know someone has to be the sub but why Pup again...he had a great game for the Eagles against Norwood prior to being selected last time, started as the sub and came on to replace Dangerfield after "that" tackle, played a qtr and a bit and was dropped. Has another couple of good games at the Eagles got his confidence back up and again starts as the sub, hope he at least gets a chance to start a game and doesnt get dropped straight back down.
Trust the process.

I agree Columbo. Petrenko should definitely be getting more gametime.

well played Crows beaten by the bottom side, Lions have won one game, Lions had two players who had no form going into this game, they both kicked 7 goals between them, Banfield and McGrath.

Well i guess it cant get any worse, why was Dangerfield left up forward or on the bench? feel sorry for Rutten and Johncock because there the only backman we have, up forward Tippett must get very frustrated with the crap delivery he gets. We would have to be the slowest side going around in the AFL, have a mid field that has six inch nails in their boots, geez i could outrun some of them, Scotty Thompson is the only quality mid fielder we have, the rest run around in circles chasing themselfs.

Going to be a long cold winter if the Crows deliver that garbage every weekend.

True and it's something that started last year, where too many players just aren't dedicated against "lesser" sides.
Unprofessional and one of Craig's biggest problems.

Yes, well, TBH I was very tempted to do the same. I resisted the urge though, as tough as it was to sit through I think it's all part of being a supporter. I've committed to being a member, and that means supporting through thick and thin.

I was actually pleasantly surprised on Sunday. There weren't too many early leavers, most people saw it through despite the game being all but over by 3 quarter time.
