The team is mentally weak, it's mainly guys like S. Thompson, Johncock and Rutten week in week out working their guts out, but there's probably only 6 or so others that join in match-to-match. Injuries can excuse a portion of some of this season's performances, but insipid stuff like today is just embarassingly bad.
Ball movement into the forward line was just woeful today and even before Walker was injured, the delivery was hopelessly bad.
Very few good leads, just bombs that rarely work.
Fortunately we have a very winnable match next week at Docklands against another struggler.
Not sure how Vince went yesterday, but surely he will be back if fit.

Bernie good yesterday....doubt he would have made that much difference today though.
I know someone has to be the sub but why Pup again...he had a great game for the Eagles against Norwood prior to being selected last time, started as the sub and came on to replace Dangerfield after "that" tackle, played a qtr and a bit and was dropped. Has another couple of good games at the Eagles got his confidence back up and again starts as the sub, hope he at least gets a chance to start a game and doesnt get dropped straight back down.

Not sure what he looks like but, actually saw someone throw their membership card over the fence half way through the last quarter.
