Port Districts true form continues, i wonder what the thoughts are from the hyreichy down there?
Sacking Ricky Pearce was a smart decision.......pigs a...
Who's fault is it now? they have better cattle now than what Ricky had in his time.
Looks like another long year for Districts, they may well be heading to Div3.

Have spoc recruited or are have they improved alot and are they being coached better? Surprised that Uni haven't set the league on fire yet, what's going on with the blacks at the moment? Have they got a few injuries??

speaking to a few dudes out at spoc, the coach is having a huge influence on the improvement of the team. the disciplines that he has instilled in the team is something they apparently have never had before, and they say thats making the biggest difference.

doubt that'll happen. not sure of too many teams that have performed that badly in div 2 after being relegated from div 1. can you think of any???

So the squad districts have now is better than the cattle Pearcey had in 09 when they made the Div 1 finals

we cant blame everything on injuries but the amount of players on the sideline at the moment is scary! :(
after saturday (when we finished with only 1 on the bench for the 4th week in a row) we have i believe 9blokes who i would consider first pick
A-graders not playing.

im actually really impressed with how the rest of the club is coping!!

Athelstone 2000/2001/2002 though they did get relegated with 7 wins in 2001

Glandore 2001 to not even playing div 2

Pooraka 2003/2004

It can happen doubt it will happen to Port Districts.

That squad in 09 was very similar to 08 when Tredrea had them & they didn't play finals that year, i didn't see Tredrea get sacked either, atleast Ricky could get them to finals footy.
Look at last years team LMA, Districts would have a far better team at present compared to that & your getting your a... kicked & your in Div2  The moment your club gets out of the shadow of Port Magpies the better.

Alfy Steed got districts to finals, off his own talent, Ricky didnt have alot of influence, but i will say he had some. Stop dreading on the past Mercy, from all reports, Ricky is happy at POrtland and they are happy with him. Move on...

Big loss for PAOC. Was an Onka's junior before heading to Norwood and getting picked up on the Crows Rookie list. Knee injuries appear to have worn him down at a young age.

My head was never there, i dont even know Alfie. Since you brought it up, all of your so called 'cattle' left when Pearce was still coach at districts, it wasnt until half way through 2010 when Pearce was replaced as coach....

You don't even know Alfie yet you make a statement like that.
I've had nothing to do with Dist, thank god so don't point cattle my way.
Regardless of what left Districts they've recruited a $h!t load of players, alot of the faithful were sprouting A2 premiership for 2011
A little premature isn't it?
So was it the right decision replacing Pearce? :-k
