Have spoc recruited or are have they improved alot and are they being coached better? Surprised that Uni haven't set the league on fire yet, what's going on with the blacks at the moment? Have they got a few injuries??

Sacking Ricky Pearce was a smart decision.......pigs a...![]()
Who's fault is it now? they have better cattle now than what Ricky had in his time.
Looks like another long year for Districts, they may well be heading to Div3.

doubt that'll happen. not sure of too many teams that have performed that badly in div 2 after being relegated from div 1. can you think of any???

So the squad districts have now is better than the cattle Pearcey had in 09 when they made the Div 1 finals

Athelstone 2000/2001/2002 though they did get relegated with 7 wins in 2001
Glandore 2001 to not even playing div 2
Pooraka 2003/2004
It can happen doubt it will happen to Port Districts.

Didn't Woodville South do the same? I too doubt it'll happen to Districts.

That squad in 09 was very similar to 08 when Tredrea had them & they didn't play finals that year, i didn't see Tredrea get sacked either, atleast Ricky could get them to finals footy.
Look at last years team LMA, Districts would have a far better team at present compared to that & your getting your a... kicked & your in Div2The moment your club gets out of the shadow of Port Magpies the better.

Big loss for PAOC. Was an Onka's junior before heading to Norwood and getting picked up on the Crows Rookie list. Knee injuries appear to have worn him down at a young age.

My head was never there, i dont even know Alfie. Since you brought it up, all of your so called 'cattle' left when Pearce was still coach at districts, it wasnt until half way through 2010 when Pearce was replaced as coach....
