Then in the return leg after Xmas he also took 10-fa in yet another ridiculously easy outright..

And almost 10yrs later they're still a joke, except they've never been close to coming back into Div 1 - and with trophy-hunting hero's playing in the lower divisions instead of challenging themselves against decent opposition, it's little wonder the reasons why.. ;)

1st season i was at Enfield i worked my ass off to try and get into the A grade :( .. NO DEAL!! They struggled in a few games to even get a full side on the park, yet still people like myself and the feltus twins who wanted to work towards playing at the highest level for our club we could we over looked!
Same season i bowled maybe twice i think? 2/3 against marion and i think it was 1/20 odd against Morialta in the b grade, also averaged 30+ in the 1st half of the season batting 5 AND was the keeper, but unfortunately ego's dictated terms at enfield as has been the case for a long time.. come grand final i kept 1st 20 overs (pretty well i must add) didnt bowl, batted 10 and watched some monkeys drop 5 catches as Kinsman made a ton for methos and they won the game EASY!
Josh Hill (captain EUCCC B grade) opened the bowling with the "dropped from div 1 bowler" Adam Gully, bowled leg spin after drinks, then was wicky after tea.. THEN.. batted 4!!!

Moral of the story.. Enfield is too full of individuals to achieve CLUB success!!

Im sure ive done it before on here! Matt Feltus was barely good enough for D grade at Enfield apparently  next season was batting 3 in div 1 for Morialta and then this year hit over 400 runs in my PREMIERSHIP WINNING SIDE!
Mick Feltus, B grader at Enfield, poorly rated as a cricketer, opened bowling for Morialta in div 1, PDCA in assoc side, and r&c grade 1! part of my PREMIERSHIP WINNING SIDE! Still run into people from Enfield and they ask me how he is getting wickets!
Paul Wright - Was considered a "specialist fielder" at enfield. Batted bottom order and didnt bowl, single handedly destroyed Enfied in a grand final two years ago with the ball!!
Todd Keogh - Won bowling for Assoc and club, handy pick up, club didnt like him, told him he wasnt welcome, now playing at Ingle Farm in ATCA
Matt Bedgegood - pushed away from the club by the secretary, now premiership captain in PDCA, 41 wickets for the year

But wats REALLY funny...

is speaking to blokes who played at Enfield years ago before myself and finding out it was EXACTLY THE SAME, and SIMILAR reasons why these VERY GOOD cricketers walked away from the club!!!

Believe he played a couple A2 games and played in a B1 grand final this weekend, also won the B3 association medal last year at Kilburn from 6 games

Considerin the B3 medal was after he broke his ankle and he still bowled 15 - 20 over spells at times was probably tough on toddy at stages, although he was always in a state where he wouldnt feel the pain to much

Also for those that havent heard, Paralowie sports club is no more so if Mawson Lakes North Cricket Club go around again it may be at the High School....barring that i'll offer my backyard tho house rules stipulate 6 and out...and every odd numbered over is bourbon over and every tenth over is bong over, minumum 5 bongs per innings per day. Pretty standard cricket rules up this way.
