Amazing that people think Fev could single handedly, cause a football club to
cease to exist simply by playing football there. Let's be real people, the only people he has hurt is himself.

Too many conservative clueless people in his state which is why things are going backwards here and forwards in the rest of the country.
The SANFL are an unimaginative organization. Rehashing last years "tribal" theme is a prime example. The conservative clueless people in SA are driving people out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last two major developments in Adelaide were the Whine Center and a one way freeway. What a sad state of affairs.
Show me who has said he's going to stop a club from "ceasing to exist" and I might take you somewhat seriously.
SANFL might be unimaginative, we might live in a state that could do with serious reform. None of that has to do with the topic or any of the arguments. Getting 1 bloke to play 12 months of footy isn't going to revolutionise the league and the state. The suggestion it might is probably an indication of the level of panic people seem to have over this whole issue.
He is 1 man. He's not a witch, he's not the messiah. He's a bloke with huge issues that have affected 2 clubs he's been with in the last 2 years that had resources and personnel that our local clubs could only dream of. Anyone thinking he's going to come in and be a nice lad and just play footy is a fool. Anyone thinking their club culture could change him or keep him in check is a fool. Anyone thinking the SANFL could fork out a million dollars for him to play and "save" the league is a fool. There is firstly, no guarantee he will play footy at any level again. Secondly, no guarantee he will even play this year. Thirdly no guarantee he wouldn't disappear the next season back to the AFL, or go to the NFL or just go back to Victoria, and all that money and accommodation would be going with him. You don't think we'd all love to see an AFL star turn their back on the national version and play SANFL? If you do, you're an idiot.
Perhaps SA is wrong not jumping to get him. I guess then the AFL, Carlton, Brisbane and all the other AFL clubs who didn't want him, all 9 SANFL clubs, his doctors, manager and Fevola himself who admit he has massive issues are also wrong. Have any clubs put their hand up? Or just that other bloke ushered out of 2 clubs? I've always had a theory that when everyone else (especially people better qualified) disagrees with you that perhaps it's not everyone else that's wrong, it's probably just you.
