They don't have to prove it to anyone but themselves, should they wish to...
That said, since they haven't taken up the gauntlet, they can't profess to be the best team outside the AFL...
That is and remains just theory...
I think it's true, but alas I won't be able to point to any positive proof of that...

Central had one way to prove me wrong and didn't accept it so we can only assume I was right.
Central are currently the best suburban team in Adelaide and have proven nothing more or nothing less.
The Central District Footy Club seems at ease with this but some of their supporters don't.
How exactly do we know Central are better than WAFL sides? What was the last result interstate match?
As WAFL clubs have taken up the challenge and Central haven't we can only assume the WAFL clubs are better.

So you expect North to win the Foxtel Cup?
I don't but I agree with you in that I hope they prove me wrong.

I think a lot of you guys and gals miss the point ......The clubs who refused to participate did so because the whole concept was an INSULT to our clubs and League by virtue of the prize money offered. The clubs that accepted this joke of an offer have insulted our League.
I am proud of the clubs that said stick it up your arse and disgusted by those who accepted to disgrace our SANFL

Dunno bu players that come from other leagues seem to adapt pretty quickly so it shouldn't be an issue, it also didn't appear an issue in the 2 interstate games I've seen Norh involved in so far, at the end of the day footy us footy.
Mind you I hope they do have more of a VFL than SANFL influence as it's one of the reasons I find he VFl better to watch than the SANFL. A more traditional style of footy and better to watch.
