Simple solution: Get a season ticket. Only costs about $30 extra than a home game ticket and you get to see every game home or away.

It doesn't, simply designed to aid PAPs... me thinks it may backfire on them.

Does my Eagles Season Ticket get me in?
If it does, then I'll pay the $11 bucks to go to the Eagles game & use my season ticket to see Port v Norwood.. then leave before the PAP's game

Surely, the SANFL have stipulated that the games be Port v Norwood & Port v Sturt... hoping to increase the crowds @ AAMI Stadium.
Me thinks if it was the Magpies choice, they'd prefer to host both games @ either AO or Alberton to maximize revenue, instead any revenue generated is going to the AFL club

Over 7000 actually and yes, they did show up to games. If they had not joined nor attended the future looked very grim indeed.

This would counter your argument that they showed up.
2010 Home match attendances
5) Port - 3,051 per game ( +60pg 2%)
Fair discrepency between 3051 and 7000.......even if every person at the games was a Magpies supporter, which you know the weren't.

It's fair to say a large percentage of the paid up members didn't show up to every game. But they were still paid up. And that for a club which finished 2nd bottom. The majority of Port supporters travel to opposition grounds, bolstering their attendances but a vast majority of other fans refuse to journey down Alberton way.

They may travel on occassions, but not the majority and not to all grounds. At Noarlunga, about 350 - 500 would attend on average.
