LOL, I should have generalised and said behind the wicket.

That should be his last test this century.

Thats the main reason Watson will never be a great player, no feel or nous for the game (at least at Test Match level)

does dr watson have the same problem when he bats with the kat ?

I realise there are many areas of concern but why is Tim Nielson almost invisible in all this?
Not his fault that his contract gets extended so far into the future though.

nielsen and digger have to go, as for the playing side of things, hughes is there by default - the sooner we can find a young opener who is making runs at shield level the better, clark on his last chance for me, if he doesnt make a century in this dig well ta ta, bring in white and make him skipper batting at 6, the new boy to stay at 3 drop punter to 4, huss 5 smith onya bike and make some big runs at domestic level, hadds 7, mummys boy 8, ,now we need to invewst some time in a spinner and in this day and age he needs to be able to handle a bat, am open to suggestions on who it is, 10 siddle, 11 - dunno if hilfy is the answer, i feel he isnt - if p george was a blue he would be a shoe in

As bias as I am towards picking SA boys, I don't think he's up to it yet, probably 3rd or 4th in line. Hilfy is no good if he doesn't strike early.
England are just a far better team than us, they bowl in partnerships and to plans, they bat with patience. It pains me to say it because I've always seen us belt the poms.

TEA
NSW 2/77
KHAWAJA 4*[39]
CLARKE 19*[27]
Deficit is now 287

A spirited effort, leave the series at 2-1 salvage a draw, would restore some respectability
OR
Get 50 in front, that way Dutchy and I can attempt to ring up the team and tellem how to bowl to the Cooky MonSTAR !

Just pour some oil and dig up the pitch like the Poms did at Headingley in '75 ...

Selectors choose the side with input when asked from Captain and coach. Selectors fault for not picking the cattle, although we simply don't have the cattle
