This is a little dig but a serious question at the same time...i dont understand the whole play soccer before a game thing, i get the warming up thing but why not do it with a cricket ball? there are plenty of warm up games, good hands and a good eye is what cricket is about not sure soccer covers any of that..
Grade cricket mentality......overrated.
Not a bad standard of cricket to mold yourself on I would've thought?

Good luck with that, consistent and umpire do not go together. The umpires are getting worse, the last couple we have had have been ordinary.

Totally agree catchit although i dont get the whole warm up thing at all. I watch my team mates play soccer every week, just waiting for someone to do an ankle
I personly am not a warm up person(maybe a bit of slip catching)... you can bust a finger doing slip catching as well but i would rather see my team mate do a injury from a game that is going to help you on the field

One thing I despise is bringing out footys during cricket season.

Absolutely not....doesn't make that facet of it right though. Whats wrong with a bit of a stretch, a hit up and a catch ? Of course this is just my opinion.
I'm one who enjoys a stretch and some throw downs.....but there's a whole heap of overrated crap going on at grade level I can assure you.

Clearly didn't see Tulloch's effort in the goal, Kept the hats in the game until the final whistle. What good is a soccer game? It beats just sitting around, why not have a laugh and build some camaraderie within the team? We will continue to have a good time, you guys just keep making runs.

A last wicket stand of 93 didnt help our cause but we got what we deserved when you drop as many catches as we did.
218 is very gettable on the small EP oval but we will have to bat extremley well to chase down this total.
Once again Rory Andrews bowled brilliantly to take 2 for 15 of around 16 overs and Daniel Jeffries 4 for 21, both these lads will be out training with the Under 21 squad today.

Especially when they come out near finals time, makes you wonder what the mindset is going into a finals match. Is it bout cricket or are they wondering how their team mates are going in a trial game which is often the case at that time of the year
