I heard Matty had moved to the hills or country or something? Not sure but I believe he's moved on. He's a very decent bloke and player. One of purest outswing actions I've seen.
Sean was naturally gifted at the send off! Some of the better ones he gave were to the PV boys. He seemed to save his best for you lot! I remember him asking Cuz if they called him Coussens because his parents are relatedMost of his stuff was harmless. I tink he just got bored so tried to spice up a contest.
You still play anywhere?

Ahhh, The Wrecker! Hey mate, how ya doin'?!?![]()
Forgot about Matty Grantham.. He followed me to Walkies a few years after I went there and is still there I think..? Top lad & a solid cricketer.
Sean mellowed a bit towards the end of the TTG era and we even had a few civil conversations.![]()
When he first came into the comp though he was a firey little fekker. I remember spanking him around Terama one day and he eventually got me out - Copes plucked a one-hander at mid-on, and McConnell went ballistic and gave me the best send off I ever copped. Sensational stuff.
Going very well, cheers.

Thanks for the complement dutchyI must say you were the pick of the bowlers tonight with that lethal out swing of yours. Although, I was quite happy with the 2 big wickets of hoddo and jon...if only i could have done that in the game

But yeah, its a good experience for us young lads to go to a training session with the best seniors in the competition and let us know where we are at in comparison to the more experienced members.
Is the next session next Wednesday?

I might have to check it for any blatant tampering before next week's session, coz early on he was on fire.
He bowled you a solid over or so of absolute crackers there at one stage.
And well done yourself, both you an' MS. I know the lads were impressed by your competitiveness and skills. If I can turn MS into a leggie in 6wks, that might be the missing piece of the puzzle..![]()
6-7 apologies from some very handy cricketers last night, so next week will be better.

Smasha, you sure you can't make it to practice? Would be nice to have a bit more practice against us before we play ya!

Matty certainly wasn't overly quick, but would bowl that nagging length all day and could certainly make the ball move

In the En Field wrote:I am rightfully informed Jarrad McLeod is again playing B Grade for Enfield on Saturday.
Jarrad McLeod 47.5 overs, 14 wickets @ 2.2 runs an over
Luke McLeod 41 overs 7 wickets @ 2.1 runs an over
Im told both of these young men(Jarrad being only 17) have said they will play A grade if selected. Both bowl with great control and can swing/cut the ball where they desire with great effect yet cant break in to A grade team that hasnt won a game. Can someone from Enfield other then myself tell me how this is so? And also post stats and reasonings regarding the continued re-selection of under-performing bowlers? Jarrad will be representing the Association Under 21's and has results to back him up yet it seems his not even being considered at all for a call up.
