Browny is correct - heard rumours have come second but who knows as the votes are hidden. Would love for the count to be done on powerpoint pressentation so the umpires could be held accountable. Have never taken much notice since knowing Oz didnt get any votes for his 100.

205 not out and a 3 fa thanks.

So he should of he is a class act, perhaps the only thing to be critical about is where he has batted? i would think that if Jamie batted at 3(where he should bat) he would more than likely have a Mckenzie medal? If a batsmen bats through the innings he is noticed alot more than someone who comes in later on maybe?

Maybe u are right. 10 run better batsman at 3 over career BUT i would love to see team results for each of these games. Have always felt teams were able to get on top of us once I was out and tried to spread myself across the innings. Not my call anymore which is nice. Just bat where I am told

Well it wasnt that memorable to the umpire straight after the game when he was giving votes so how was I supposed to remember ;). Does anyone think it would actually make the end of year presso a bit more interesting if we knew there was going to be a count in gr 1 and 2 done on power point. Would only take 20 minutes if set up correctly and might actually get a few more people there.

You dont see Ozlins having a career in A Grade District either, its not what he wants to do. I Guarentee you that if he did want to further himself in cricket, he wouldn't be playing Para Districts. No one from OTH wants him to fail.

speak for yourself there OKC. i aint sayin i want him to fail but there could be players at the club who feel let down by matt rogers decision to leave the club n wudnt mind seein a couple of 0s next to his name.

the thing with matt rogers is simple. he isnt a club man, he plays for cricket himself. which is fine if thats how ya wanna play. some people make their careers on helping their club others make their careers on chasin personal goals. matt obviously thought he would be better off at OTH, then once he got there decided against it. perhaps a classic case of the grass is greener on the other side. but i reckon had he been sat on 200 runs and 10 wickets under his belt the situation could have been different. but like i said...matt rogers plays for matt rogers. he obviously has goals for the season and didnt think he was going to achieve them at OTH.

I personally am a little disappointed by it all. but like you said OKC at the start of the season he wasnt playin for us, it was a last minute job, and we all felt at the club that we could seriously push towards a flag... gaining matt was a bonus... so i guess now we go back to the same position we were at the start of the season. we will be there come finals time
