I forced a Mitchell Park batsman in Section 2 (official umpire) to remove it or put it on the inside.
I could have been wrong, the umpire didnt know but made him take it off.
Is it legal or should just be banned anyway because it looks pathetic?

Huge kudos to the WYC boys for putting all that behind them and having a beer afterwards - sportsmanship isnt dead - you guys proved that today - well done!
I would add one comment - if the ASCA want to run a cricket comp of any type (in this case 20/20) then at least have the decency to organize umpires - todays match almost got out of hands because there were no officials there - very poor form and makes us look like a joke to other comps who seem to run things far better than us.

Glad i did not venture over the road then Madrooster if this was the case. We are fast getting a reputation as a club of bad sports, which i know would dissappoint the Pres no end.
Scoreboard says we were thrashed unmercifully, which begs the question why there was a need for such carry on.
Well done WYC for being the better & bigger club from all reports.

Wyc were in their rights to call it but its a disgrace
Belair captain put a 1 on the wrong line of a subtitute player
the player was to play both weeks
was not a ring in or unregistered or anything
just a 1 on the line up from whrere is was suppose to be.
playing section 4 hard wicket ffs!
they made Belair forfiet

No worries Bradman i suppose you want other clubs to just turn a blind eye to a player who was supposed to have only played week 1 coming out to bat on week 2?
Maybe the captain should make sure he doesn't make those mistakes.
Quite simply rules are rules and i applaud my team and captain in section 4 for making the right decision on the day as it was not the easy way out.
What is bad sportsmanship is the way the belair players carried on after the games from all reports.
Maybe if the captain had come up and admitted his mistake prior to play commencing on day 2 it wouldn't have been such an issue but no Belair made the attempt to play the game knowingly with someone who shouldn't have been playing.

Wouldn't happen to know where the " Mosse Harley Trophy " is would you, we asked about it after the game on the weekend but your Captain wasn't to keen on looking for it.

Must be proud of that behaviour.
