As a parent you spend alot of time trying to instill some morals, good behaviour and manners and bring your kids up the right way and every now and again they do something or say something that makes you really proud of them and happy that despite the repeated attempts, they ARE actually listening to what you tell them....
So despite coaching my team to only 1 loss this year, on Saturday we got pumped in the GF. Well and truly pumped right from the first minute of the game. The worst 2 hours I have ever experienced on a football field. As expected I was shattered.... But after the game when junior Choccies came up to me, gave me a hug and said "It's OK Dad, it doesn't matter about not winning, we'll just try win again next year" it all made it seem so unimportant but at the same time made me feel successful as a parent and proud of my boys

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
