Having said that, Flinders Park fought out the last quarter well and deserved the win
GF's are funny games so much on the line for 1 game. I do agree with you Demon. Uni are a very good side and we knew it would go down to the wire. I spoke to the fella that missed that goal after the game and he was gutted. Momentum is a big thing and we could feel they were gaining it. I am just glad we did the little things in that last quarter to get over the line. It may have been the support from you guys in the pocket

Not. Can't belive you busted my cover

bj didn't hear the whistle - but we knew we were in trouble when the venue was announced as we'd prefer a larger ground in which to run around on. Next year will see div 2/c2 become the home of the spooner with paoc and iggies coming up. We were getting the momentum but just couldn't kick a goal to save ourselves.
I'd like to think that the majority of folk on saturday will go around again - and it will be interesting to see what happens with div 7 to c2 with various clubs just hanging on.
But, Flinders were just too good on the day and we couldn't seem to take our chances as well as the Reds.
