Let's get rid of Jars because he's too attacking.

Let's get rid of Heals because he's too defensive.

Jeez North, make up your mind ... #-o

Oh, and what were you saying about Mickan getting the boot TSG??? where ever you are :-s

I was just about to refer to my post from this morning when I kindly advised all that today was D-day for Daniel, and asked if Griffen would be involved in the settlement ... but it has been removed? why would that be? :?

Don't people like the fact that the Bunster actually has the odd bit of substance behind his info?

any word on Rogers departure from West yet?

Its still exactly where you posted it.

Instead, today he'll get the "Don't come Friday (tomorrow)" ....

With Griffen involved at North, I wonder if it North will try to limit their significant payout on some legal technicality?

No, his account on this site is still active. His pending move to another state might be taking up some of his time though. To our knowledge he only had one username but if you have any other information let us know as we frown upon that.

Maybe Trevor Hill could coach again at his spiritual home?

For the North fans, do you think he can "coach", teach and relate to the players? It was just his insistence on the defensive game-plan and subsequent results were the problem?

Would one of the James brothers, in particular Roger, be a chance?

IMO that was the problem, not that I saw any games this season, after watching some performances last year with the negativity I swore I would not go to another North game till he left, geeez I'm looking forward to Round 1 next year :D

Well respected by who? :? The Board, and we know what a fine group of football judges they are ..... not. Remember one common factor right through the Jars and Healy years has been Bluey developing the youngsters ... ho hum! Most of the players who took North to Reserve premierships in 2005/06 were methodically shown the front door or left to get a game (ala Grooke who play in a premiership side the following year).

Apart from the long 1st grade injury list in early 2010, the playing group played more as individuals and not as a team. On paper the list looks good, but a team of champions will never beat a champion team. It took Centrals some time to develop this concept, and they are deservedly reaping the benefits. All they are doing now is tinkering around the edges as needed to keep the club strong.

North has to get over the 1st hurdle, play as a single unit and become a stable side like Central.

It will NEVER happen overnight, and especially with whole-sale changes.

With all the bagging and negativity, no-one has noticed that the last 3 games of the season actually showed some team cohesion. We were looking like a team, and Healy and his coaching staff played their part in achieving that. Well done.

I believe that Healy should have been given his third year of the contract to see through the team development he had started. A new coaching group will not help the stability that was starting to develop in the side.

I fear you may be right Adam, but of the three victories in the last three weeks, only one was a top five team. I think so many of the supporters, myself included, are very impatient for success on the field, who knows Healy could have had a great 2011, but we'll never know.

From what i heard Healy and the coaching staff had exactly zero to do with the way the team played in the last 2 and a half games. i was told that at half time of the south game the players locked themselves in a room to have a discussion, without any coaches, and once they came out they told the coach how the rest of the game was to proceed, who was to play where etc.

basically they took matters into their own hands and the difference between the first and second halves was obvious to say the least. from what i understand the players did the same for the following two games.

I cant understand how healy can still say he had the support of the players if the above story is true?
