Not sure of his exact number but it would be somewhere around the 9 mark, I would think.

It will be interesting to see what "case" they have put forward. Seems pretty clean-cut rule.

must be getting close to the finals the bays are starting to get desperate.

the rule is very and black and white and consistent through 9 SANFL clubs but im sure if sellar is made available then so will )ay Nash who would probably be more valuable on the big beff oval in the predicted weather conditions.

is the bay belly starting to kick in.

hahahahaha!!!! seems to be common this time of year.

Maybe if the bays kept PUMPA they wouldnt have to resort to such tactics.

The SAAFL did a way with this stupid rule this year.
Are we not supposed to be promoting the game???????????????
If they qualify let them play. That's what we did in the SAAFL. We gained a player for the finals and was high in our best for the match.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

i have no problem with the sanfl doing away with this rule completely but thats not the issue here. we are talking about one club who want one player excused from the rule because they got an injury to a similar player.

the rule is either enforced and is very black or white or they do away with the rule completely at the beginning of next season.

funny part is i think if the rule is bended for glenelg this acutally suits central who could do with a replacement for ohara being nash who would be much better suited to the predicted weather conditions. there would be no possible way the sanfl could deny nash playing if they allow sellar to play

Unfortunately if Sellar is allowed to play, Nash will still not be. Appeals had to be lodged on Monday. However, I can't see how the league can allow the rule to be changed for just one player. The rule has been in place for a while and all clubs were aware of it.

As far as I'm concerned the finals start this week. the dogs have been insipid the last month or so, I know they've had a "HEAVY TRAINING REGIME" but now is the time to stand up and start playing "finals" footy. If it dosent happen this week I think we will be in for a short finals campaign. The side has been too unsettled for far too long now with 3,4 or more changes every week and I think this is having a negative effect on the team. God I hope I'm proven wrong and look like a dickhead which i will gratefully accept if the Dogs that we know produce the goods

Insipid? We smashed an improving Port, beat Norwood & smashed West, plus gave South a 5 goal head start on their oval. We lost to Sturt at Unley by only 2 goals & to the Eagles on their oval, where We hardly win, by about 4 goals. Going on this form, We have been insipid all season!!

Actually Sutherland walked out on Glenelg to chase coin in Canberra and then the riverland but whatever you reckon.

Probably not a bad result for Glenelg in the end. With the conditions that are forecast, it will not be a big man's game on Saturday.
