The doctor I go to see when I can't get in to see my usual GP. He always asks me what my symptoms are and then says nothing. When I ask him what his diagnosis is, he asks me what I think it is. When I suggest something, i.e. 'Do you think it's a viral infection?' he'll say 'Well, I suppose it could be' and then hands me out a script for antibiotics in case it is something else. Now bubs is sick and I have to take him to see Doctor Nob Head - I'm not thrilled about it. :?

My spaz of a cat. She has a broken leg so I need to take her to the vet. Except - in spite of her broken leg - she has managed to stomp a hole in her cat box and has chewed the handle off the other cat box. So I'll have to pack her in my partner's footy bag and hope for the best. I'll also have to pay extra for a general anaesthetic - which is the only way the vet can examine my cat, as last time it took two people to hold her down and she still managed to rip her way out of the towel they'd wrapped her in. Oddly enough, she is a very affectionate cat most of the time, she just hates the vet. :roll:
