To be honest - not sure? My mail is that if he didn't make the 5 that he would walk away and that is looking increasingly likely re missing the finals. Either we have a massive turn around or he is gone and that seems to be the thoughts of most who are still bothering to turn up each week. He will see out 2010 I would think although CP's thoughts have merit and many at North think that might be a good option.
Whilst you can't blame the coach for everything, the game plan and defensive mind set, poor recruiting, injury management and some of his selections are his fault IMO and they are not helping in the confidence and morale of the players however he doesn't coach players not to show any desire, intensity etc or to fumble, be hesitant, not chase, not tackle, be harder at it and go for the full 120 minutes or to have poor foot and hand disposals and not kick gettable goals so the players are at blame for most of that HOWEVER easier to get rid of one coach rather than 20 odd players!
We have gone backwards this year rapidly and after accepting last year was a rebuild to a certain degree with the number of players he turned over plus the players getting used to the "new game plan" we still finished 5th and considering the outs we had for the Elimination Final we put up a good fight in the end however not making the finals in 2010 is just unacceptable given the $$$ and resources we have plus the supposed strong playing list.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
