He needs to be in a semi professional enviroment where he will push himself. Who knows he may even get a SANFL premiership and still young enough to forge a career and if Berri isnt selfish they will give him their full support. [b][b]Maybe they shouldnt have have opened the cheque book so hard to get him. Its another year of football after all, centenary year , who cares!! Oppurtunity for a young bloke, back him in. He may even become the next Michael Barlow, good luck Pumpa, hopefully the SANFL sees a lot more of you and you can kiss the RFL good bye!!!

I'm not a Berri Fan but for anyone to suggest that they should be pushing him all the way and getting excited for his future, without any form of compensation, at the very least, is looking at this from a very one sided point of view.

I'm sure a replacement ruckman may suffice. Having said that, we are awfully close to the 30 June deadline though, so realistically, we may end up with nothing. Monetary compensation isn't the issue here. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we may lose a quality ruckman and not have the option of picking up someone to replace him, given this has all happened so close to the clearance deadline.
