Friday night super important for both sides, the only one worth tuning in for I reckon.

Only good thing is some margin multi's might get us some value.

After what the Bulldogs have served up plus their injury list crisis (have you seen it?) - North won’t be losing this week.

I really wish they would just have one weekend off, all clubs have a bye and be done with it, not only do we have a shit round of footy it is spread over an extra day with gaps of no games, doesn't do anything for the comp IMO.

Make the week off grassroots footy week, encourage all AFL players to return home to their junior club and these clubs can make it a huge weekend every year to drive support and revenue.

Agreed Dutchy, just play 11 games, have the weekend off and play 11 more.

The problem we get with the split rounds is some clubs are at the end of their 10,11 or 12 week block playing sides who have just had the week off.

And I like the idea of community football round, get to your local park and watch the Mudlarks play their traditional rivals the ArmyBooters.

Alternatively, f*** the break altogether, they used to cope just fine yesteryear and that was with a SOO game thrown in mid-week during the week and the arse end of the Fosters/Escort Cup for the first 6 or 7 rounds.
