Welcome to the premier league to Huddersfield Town. First time in a long time since they played in the top division. Another provincial market town club with a great history. No doubt 2nd favs to go down after Burnley
Been to the McAlpine or whatever they call it these days, and will be looking forward to going there next season. Lovely club, lovely fans and in my experience one of the friendliest clubs I've been to after Fulham. Sadly one of our bogie clubs, especially on their turf.

I thought he hadn't decided whether he was stopping or going Lot of paper talk me thinks
I know most goners I know wish he'd make his mind up with many wishing he'd move on now and give someone else a chance. Especially as they have failed to reach the CL this year. That will give the top four a big advantage in attracting top players.

Hot off the press
From BBC Sport Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has agreed a new two-year contract, extending his 21-year reign at the club. Wenger and club owner Stan Kroenke met on Monday to determine the Frenchman's future, with the decision relayed to directors at a Tuesday board meeting.

Ubet has Huddersfield at $1.55 favourites to go down and then Burnley and Brighton both at $2.25. Not that means anything. After watching their last few games the Terriers will need to do some serious recruiting if they want to be competitive next year. Their manager seems pretty switched on though. I hope both Huddersfield and Brighton both survive.

How many teams have been promoted to the epl with negative goal difference?

I thought they said during the telecast that no side had ever been promoted with negative goal difference in any division....until now.
Southampton have sacked Claude Puel. Interesting decision after finishing 8th and making the EFL Cup final. What killed him was the defensive style of play and his poor English which didn't allow him to communicate effectively with the fan base. I'm sure most Saints fans are happy with the decision. Wil be interesting to see who they pick up ..... rumour is that Thomas Tuchel may be his replacement.
