Haven't got an issue with those established games. Would love to see a Good Friday Showdown Fixture each year.

But the interstate sides are just playing a rebranded VFL
Exactly, Crows fans seem to always ignore this fact.
This will never change and they knew what they were getting into when they joined.
I think there needs to be a bit of context to some of this, as well.
The Melbourne Collingwood game, to my understanding, on a Queen's Birthday Monday became a 'marquee' game at a time when the Demons were struggling financially. It was an opportunity to help Melbourne and the game has been scheduled on this day since - with gate proceeds going to the Demons. It is always a Melbourne home game.

As for Anzac Day, I get some of the reasons why other clubs, but mostly Adelaide people, complain about Collingwood and Essendon having that day - even though no one wanted it prior to those teams taking it on, and even at the time everyone was sceptical. But...because it's such an important day, I get their annoyance.
What I don't get, is if Adelaide people are so annoyed about being unable to play on Anzac Day, why are they not agitating to have a home game on the Anzac weekend once in a while? That has become Port's 'marquee' - a home game on Anzac weekend. They've made that match something. Why do Adelaide Crows supporters let this happen without complaint? Seems a tad hypocritical to me.
Has nothing to do with me being a crows supporter. I don't really care that the crows aren't involved. That wasn't my point.

Would love to see the grand final rematch or something like that as the Anzac Day fixture
So say GWS beat WC in this years grand final, you want to see next years ANZAC game held at Spotless Stadium with about 15 thousand people there max? No thanks, give me the guaranteed 90 thousand at the G every year.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Makes me think of Port Adelaide:
"Port Adelaide’s first colours were blue and white, pink (often worn as block colour uniforms against local opponents), and then magenta and blue."

And also the way the Power have drifted from Teal to Aqua.

REB and this thread were the first things I thought of when I saw that guernsey. Can't wait to see his review.

Probably gets out of it as by rights they aren't actually guernseys.

Yep. I'll take that and run with it! Absolutely shocking...you can't defend the indefensible! Can't wait until we look like a football team again.
