The strongly built key position utility had played mainly as a forward until the middle of season 2005, whereupon he moved back into the defensive half with good effect.
Pask, previously a virtual one-man forward line for the Western Magpies in the AFLQ, is trying to emulate Robert Copeland who established himself at the Lions after being rejected for a rookie list spot at his first try.
He showed good versatility when swinging back for the latter stages of last season with the Suncoast Lions, his good body work and timing on the spoil coming in very handy. In 2004 Pask won the AFLQ’s Rising Star award last year and was runner-up in the Western Magpies’ best and fairest despite an injury-interrupted first half of the year.
Is a long-time Queensland underage representative.

Carlton), Adam Morgan (194cm Key position defender or Fwd? WB/Dogs), Trent Sporn (188cm utility Carlton) and James Allan (177cm on baller Werribee) have all agreed/signed to play at North.
Morgan and Livingston add height and size to our defence which apart from Schubert lacked size this year given the problems with Koops and the injury to Simon Cox. We did "uncover" McIntyre but he looks lost to the draft? I would expect the tall forwards to be Alleway, Weatherley and Gill (assuming he doesn't get drafted). Add in Shannon Motlop and I can't really see that we would need to many more in's except maybe for another ruckman (I hear one is being "pursued") given the way O'Hara ended up.
I think given our deficiencies last year and with those players leaving then the above mentioned recruits will be very good additions and shouldn't cause too many problems in settling into the North style and game plan. I would expect (or hope!) that North is a top 3 definate and a genuine contender in 2007? If not those "rumblings" presently will turn into some serious questions asked of the Senior coach and playing group as a whole.

I find this kind of attitude hard to believe from the 'Club Fos built' tm?
At least Norwood have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars, for exactly the same result, by not adopting Port's 'strategies' over the last few years.
