That's a tough round but they are all tough rounds due my shocking tipping. Essendon not without a chance against the Saints as, like Carlton they have that pace advantage.

The Crows game will be shown live on Ten surely?? I hope they don't, because I want to watch the Cats v Brisbane game, but I can't see them not showing the Crows game on Ten. Sucks, because that means the Crows will be on free to air and pay tv at the same time, so will have to wait until late sat night to watch the Cats.

I got that from the herald sun's listing of this years fixture. I think you're right, the Adel/NM game will no doubt be shown live into Adelaide on ch 10 using the Foxtel feed.

BC, I reckon Sat night is different from memory. The Crows game will be on FTA, and the Cats game will be on Fox.

Edit: nope, I'm wrong. This is garbage..... Bris Cats, 12:30am Sunday morning.

Why on earth would you want to stay up until 12am at the mother-in-law's, to watch your team get pumped?? You have serious issues.

Freo V Collingwood
North V Adelaide
Bullies V Swanettes
Port V Carlton

and to a lesser extent St's V Bombers.

5 games you can have little confidence in tipping this weekend.

Thoughts? ( My tips in bold )

North are average and Adelaide have some handy ins in Tex and Dangerfield. The Crows own the Roos and now that they've found out that attacking footy actually gets you somewhere I reckon they'll post a second win.

The Swans have a very poor record at Manuka against the Bullies and go in without Seaby and Mumford. Jesse White, who has been good foil up forward for the Swans will have to do some ruck work now and the balance of the side that has been working well for them will be out of kilter.

I expect Adelaide and the Bulldogs to salute. Agree with you about the Pies who are on fire and travel well. Unlike Geelong who went to Perth with key players out, the Pies are looking strong. As for the Port v Carlton game that is the toughie of the round without a doubt. I lean slightly towards Port as they have found a bit of grit and should make use of thier restored home ground advantage, having said that - if the three amigos can break free it's bye bye Power. Still undedcided on the Port game I must admit.

I reckon the Saints will cream the Bombers after the shellacking they've copped from the media this week.
