If there's something that caught my attention on Saturday's match against the Lodge is their ability to spoil, we had to work hard for nearly every mark. They seemed to be able to make contests when they weren't anywhere near the picture initially.

well done to Smiffies a good reward especially for the people that do the hard yards out there like LM & PG
didnt see our game but our lads very shattered by the result back at the club
good kick in the butt for them and hopefully makes us work harder on the areas we need to
interesting to see how many pay the price for a poor loss with quality like Sibbick, Howe, Smith, Verbis & Unknown Source to possibly return this week

I'm just glad the monkey is off of Joss & Co's backs, Joss is big on self-belief and that's what his speeches were directed at during the breaks, not about being competitve or giving it a fair crack, anything short of a win was a failure.
We should be getting a trickle of players back in the coming few weeks, not heap at once, just two or three each week for a few if all goes to plan. Now we have to shift our focus on the journey to the picturesque Daly Oval.

Should have been 8-10 goals up by the half, but the Lodge got on a roll and brought it back to 9 points. Absolutely, we didn't mind letting Joss know about his missed goals, there were a few across the playing group though, when you are 0-3 it's easy to get the yips, your pressure was there alll day aswell.

And apparently the way he sings and moves up and down the runway also cements his position as the true mad dog

Awesome day at North Haven Football club yesterday. They have taken the standard of catering to a whole new level..no Kranskys but Home Made Curry and Rice for $10...canteen staff wearing chefs hats and I challenge you to find a bigger range of beers in the amateur league anywhere...

A tribute to Chef Pauline and all concerned...

I quite understand why the visitors rooms need to be dramatically reduced and only one light provided to ensure that the Master Chef gets all the power she needs

Not pulling the preverbial....an enjoyable day and fantastic club

I reckon Plympton's range of beers covers all tastes...

I hate it when i go to an opposing club and cant even get a carlton cold. I even at one club offered to go to the bottleshop and get a carton for them and they could sell them to me but they said no. (i didnt have an esky on me at the time to buy a carton for myself).

Great to see clubs 'raising the bar' with regards to bbq's and canteens and making the place more hospitable for opposition.

You're in luck when you play us at home jabber, because we have Carlton Colds in the fridge. I drink them but not many guys around the club do. This just means there's more for me and the few that do!
