I'm irrtitated hearing his name constantly pronounced Montagna in the media, when it is correctly Montanya.
I suppose it is possible he has so little knowledge of his heritage he mispronounces it himself...
Good player though.

Whatever his name is he's still a very good player

See what some good ruckman can do for a team GT.

Only thing keeping Saints from being a top 2 team this year would be a major injury to either Hayes or Riewoldt.

It will just be a matter of can they get it right in September.

to be frank i dont think they will do a hell of alot without him for a couple of reasons.

1) he is an out and out leader when he is on the ground those around lift and grow a leg with his fantastic leadership.

2) another reson is with out him kozzie then has the op. best defender which will beat kozzie 8 out of 10 times the good games he plays are agianst a 3rd or 4th string defender of a weak side.

3) alot like point 2 but this time with milne, still needs to play a good game, in a big game against a good side.

4) yes they can play goddard up forward but are you robbing peter to pay paul?

in my opinion the saints are still going to win enough games to easily make the 8 with there midfield and defence but can they kick a winning score against the better sides time will tell i guess

Wish i followed my own advice from last week. St Kilda are a disgrace. Sure they did what they had to do to win but they are going to lose the AFL alot of fans if they persist with these "soccer" tactics.

Would be interested to hear what St Kilda fans thoughts are. Can they accept that style of Football if they continue to win?

They did that last night and his influenece on the game was reduced. He didnot look like he was comfortable with that.
Kosi was hopeless again against the best defender and it wasnt until the last quater that Milne got going.
Milen and Schnider really need to stand up up now, and perhaps the saints need to look at using gardiner up forward more,.

It's Deja Vu!!
Ainters repeating their GF tanking, then following up with squibbing the final eight weeks of the following year.
Just like '97& '98.
Some things never change.
Inevitable as Death and taxes, is STK effing it up.
Count on it.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
