Would think (or hope) that the Modbury v Eatern Park would have some heat in it. Both sides, from watching EP last year and a couple Modbury games, are not scared to try and intimidate or stick up for their team mates. Could be a real tough and great game to watch!

Id say both teams would want the footy first cos we both have had a poor start to the season :lol: well thats our aim anyway

Eastern Park won by about 6 goals today.

Apparently pretty comfortable, Modburys bad kicking at goal cost them. EPFC finished game with no bench.

on the mark with your 2nd sentence there whufc, i think the final margin was 20 pts or so. A lot of Modbury's misses came from ordinary umpiring decisions and EP had complete control of the game from midway through the 2nd quarter until the last when Modbury kicked a few cheapies.
Modbury will beat a fair few sides this year though.

Eastern Park and Modbury game today should be a wake up call for SAAFL and the disgraceful umpires of which they use.!! past 3 weeks i have seen a SAAFL member sitting back talking to the umpires at breaks and recording parts of the game (on video) hopefully he can change a few things :lol: but other they that gotta be happy with the effort the boys put in today.. almost threw it all away in the 3rd term when it came down to push and shove :o but EPFC remained cool and finished ontop.. well done fella's
It's all fun and games till you get serious, sit down shut up and have a joke... Were all here for a laugh and a few to many bevvs
