Why because he gets free an uses the ball? Try manning up or getting your coaching staff to tag him or get someone to run through him? or are those days gone at tigerland?

BP- Josh (AKA Moving Pictures) is hardly an out. Bloke made me think about coming out to training. If that's the A Grade standard, there's a problem.

Thanks from yesterday to TRR and KWF- PAID!

i'm about 3 ft taller and wider than Cove07..... all very tight games

Waybacks v Marble Range
The Questions is - Just how these proud teams bounce back from their Round 1 losses?? Both tall teams, both solid defences. Does Scotty give the Ranger on-ballers first use, or can Joey jump in and cause some havoc. The Dees with a new look line-up, especially down back and up forward, the Magpies goaless after quarter-time last week - will need some re-shuffling. It'll be the team than can convert in front of goals that will come away with the win - the loser will be 0-2.... Dees just...

Tasmans v Mallee Park
Does the height of Tasmans compensate for the run and carry of Mallee Park. How does the win last week effect the Roosters - it'll be a different ball game this week against the fast running, evasive Peckers. If Tasmans can keep the ball in the air, rather than on the ground - may determine if they can post back to back victories. The Peckers on the other hand are the masters of reading the footy from the talls. Very interested in the match ups - do Tasmans roll the dice, or do they tag the premier Pecker midfielders - if they roll the dice it could be a shoot out - can the Tasman midfield out-last the wave of Mallee Park surges.....and kick enough goals two weeks in a row..... Mallee Park 1- 39 (But the Roosters are a LOT better)

Lincoln South v Boston
How does the Tiger outfit rally behind leaders after last weeks effort. Where is the tiger spirit that has promised so much of the summer. Lincoln South were very structured last week - solid defence with Jerico and White - tall up forward with Stoetzer, Marshall, Dunn - lots of midfield run Castley, Kidney and a group of youngsters. Where are the Tigers goals going to come from? Will the doggish approach of the Tigers bog down the flow of the hard running Eagles. The Eagles to back up....

Thats just how I see it....great weekend of Footy ahead

PS. And I sincerly hope that the Two League umpires get through the game @ Wangary and the Reserve umpire is not needed!! Make sure your hammy is stretched Mick Bluey..

TRR any insite on what the umpires will be hot on this year? Pappi was very unforgivable with his holding the balls in the Boston and Tasmans game. The umpiring in the pre season cup was first class, they gave a free kick if it was deserved but they mostly they let the game play with little interferance or stupid free kicks awarded. Hopefully we see more of this during the season.

BP - I cant really talk for any of the umpires (Ive only been there 2 minutes and some have been doing it a long time). I suppose the main difference would centre around the 25mtr rulings - wasting time, not giving the ball back "like it's your teammate", going over the mark before the ump has called "play on"..... in my opinion - I wont guess and will only pay frees if I see them and only if they impact the guy going for the ball.... and I wont tolerate abuse from players or team officials...hopefully that works. And honestly it's not as easy as everyone standing on the sidelines thinks....
