What I find funny is Magpies fans blaming everyone else for their predicament and then turning their back on them to watch a Power AWAY game.

What do sponsors look for? They look for exposure. By not showing up to Alberton it wont help to gain any.

Of course, I'm not a Magpie fan and not entitled to an opinion.

Yeah I hate Port, but want them to stay.

What I find HILARIOUS is that I and my fellow Port Adelaide brethren are more likely to follow the Magpies to any venue, home or away, yet the moment one of us says a one-off Showdown is going to divert our attention, the bagging begins.

I hate Port but the oppurtunity to the see the Cows go 0-6 is too great an oppurtunity to pass up for most football supporters.

Turning their back? You've got to be kidding. Over 7000 memberships sold and loads of money donated ( I dont know the exact figure ) and you think choosing to go and watch a higher standard game against a bitter rival who are almost dead on their feet and we are turning our backs?

Sure you are entitled to an opinion, but you are not IMO entitled to tell us what we should or shouldn't be doing and how we should feel about whichever one we choose to do.

That would work equally well as an argument in defence of those Panthers fans who elect to watch the SANFL in preference to the Crows this week.

Perhaps we should amend the poll to include what the South fans are doing this weekend: Crows or Panthers?

Irrelevant and not an equal comparison.

1. South are not in financial difficulty
2. The match is a Magpie home game
3. Minor, but its a Crows home showdown.

Port need a million bucks, it wouldn't matter if all the Port supporters boycotted the Crows home game and went to Alberton. It wouldn't make a dent.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Watching the showdown on a big screen at Alberton.

Best of both worlds.

Last week I wrote

I am going to stick my neck out and make a prediction.

"The crowd at AAMI Stadium this Saturday will be the lowest of the 14 Crows Hosted Showdowns held."

Wikipedia Advises
The Crows' attendances range from 40,296 (Showdown IX) to 51,140 (Showdown XIII) and average 45,710.54. So far 594,237 people have attended Crows home matches in which Crows fans usually make up about 90% of the crowd.

Crowd at the showdown today - 40,371

I was 75 off
