I was lucky enough to play footy with him in 07 at Eyre United, Very interesting footballer he is, moved to Great Flinders in 2000 after playing reserves in Lincoln, Then hit a purple patch from 01-04, where he finished high in the mail medal voting, coming 2nd one of those years and 3rd in another. also played in the majority of the Assoc sides(which at the time where pretty strong), Even from 04-08, he was a part of the Assoc Squads if not the teams. On his day a dominant player with a big leap and huge kick, and when it wasn't his day....useless. Hope that helps.

I thought we might have heard from acockfromwayback after the big win but he has been conspicuously quiet. Are they trying to sneak under the radar the roosters because they were the most impressive team of round 1 by all reports and are a huge 2nd spot chance.

Leo, I think it was the entire direction of the convo, and the fact that it breaches the sites rules, don't take it personally.

Back on footy, the Kayser hit on Treager got him a four week ban.

Has anyone heard how Brayden is?

4 weeks seems very harsh for an "accident" and when "he had the ball" as you all say

Although I can physically imagine a situation like was described on here [Kayser having picked up the ball, and charging through Traeger who was "crouched" trying to pick up the ball himself] it seems unlikely, and in light of the fact that both field umpires reported him, it's a hard theory to support.

I didn't see it though, but four weeks is rough IMHO. Judging that opinion on some instances last year.

Example 1: Last year, I saw a junior footballer walk up to his opponent, with absolutely no provocation, clench his fist, and punch him in the face: 2 games.

Example 2: Guess who in a B grade game, "clean up" a much younger, inexperienced opponent, and later deck him: 2 matches.

So four matches based on the findings in recent times seems either over the top, or that this was a much, much more serious and deliberate hit than we've been led to believe.

Having snooped a bit... I believe Traeger is out for the year, but alright.

Pretty sure Kayser only got 2 weeks there MP. Or do we need to put a carton on that as well?

Well the coaching staff need to buy him a compass. Either that or send him to Compass.

.

Kayser never had the ball before contact with Treager. Treager was the one in control or semi in control of it and Kayser was the one who came in. Get that right for starters.
