Don't know too much about Monfries, but the exorbitant figure (if accurate) indicates gun status???

How sure are you about Hammer playing with BFC? And yes, that's a loaded question.

Monfries is a gun and worth every cent from what I have seen on the track. no defender in this competition will stop him, ebo and shane sumner

Monfries is a gun recruit will be best player in PLFL hands down, will only play about 6-10 games for us as he lives and works in the mines. I advise everyone to ignore that statement by acock, thats what he got offord from souths. He played all his footy at bostons as a youngster.

MP possitive since he signed with us and was at training tonight.

Yes I have heard them call him Wal, he looked hard at it and tough. Reminds me of the tiger of old. I thought it was him that was the good one and the other brother was the average one. All the better for us. I offered to buy him some footy socks at footy the other night (as a joke) he didnt find it funny. I dont think he likes me

From what i remember Austie was a gun. Could take a hanger and dob a goal, and have heard from a few reliable lads up that way that he can still play. Who gives a F@#$ if they payed him, good on em.

Sumner all through juinors and into the seniors could kick a flukey goal. A bit like a Stevie Milne type player, could definately go missing, but really annoying when on a roll. Last time i seen him it had looked like he'd been stung by a bee, but i would probably sit him in a pocket. Based on last time i seen him play of course.

Will def be an interesting year on the footy front, have been keeping in touch with lads from most clubs and reckon it should be a fairly even year. I agree with TRR with not taking mallees lightly. They have picked up some handy lads, both new and returning and from what i've heard have a potential 11 colts from last year coming up. Those 17's were a cut above the rest last year!!

2010 order maybe

Have heard that the lincoln baseballers won gold at the masters games on the weekend and that Zoo Poo in his first appearance for the masters was up there with the better players for the side, not surprising he has always been a big game player. :)

fev, matt wauchope is an old mate of mine and could seriously play. he is 35 now but could still do very well. he used to coach roopena and i think won a male medal in whyalla league. outs for us are luke cunningham (still to get a clearance from waybacks thou!!), we have about 10 ins of varying abilities. hopefully our B & F and runner up in the b grade will be under the age of 40 this year!!

I will say this just once. NO ONE from Bostons is getting paid per game, not even the few who were in previous years. Players can however do VERY well if they get BOG. Handing money out to entice quality players was a band aid fix that the club did to get the side competitive as quickly as possible. The club has now chosen to look beyond and will now reward effort only.

Acock & UA are the biggest trolls on this site and if everyone ignores and does not respond to their posts maybe they will go away. UA states he's at training yet thinks Wal is Austy then adds crap about buying socks to try and sound more realistic. Pathetic....

Ignore them...

So if I fill in, and slot four or five (unlikely, but good for my point) majors, I can get more than Woody, who's gonna play every game, and go to every training, but who might not be BOG often???

so far all i know is
tumby
in: callen bubner and micheal bates signed with us but only seen him at one training
Out: david butler and roland charD

ramblers have got james and george pedler, scott blacker. jarred wait, and some wauchope fella back to their club

eyre united
IN: stewy green, aaron sayers and david butler

Lock have apparently lost wake, northcott, tiller, halman and kay but unsure how true all that is

and cougars have picked up jace rodda and maybe a few more

can anyone confirm or deny these or have anthing to add to it?

Ty Habner back for Yeelanna plus a full forward who's supposedly pretty handy.

Cougars have got Rodda and Rayson from Souths plus Roger Puckridge.

are you forgetting cougars best pick up in clayton millard? Rodda out for 6 or so weeks ankle ligaments.

Yes, players can still bust their gut in losing sides. You will find that those training the hardest and putting in the effort on the field will be the ones getting BOG and a nice reward, the bludgers will get nothing.

 Have you ever heard of a BOG being picked on a Thursday night......What I am saying is those training the most will be the fittest, in turn giving them the best opportunity to be playing the better football, placing themselves in contention for a BOG more often.
