Lincoln South would like their chances against the more fancied Demons without a trial under their belt in round 1 rossco. Wonder if AG will put up a price for me?

What are the games in round 1 GFFL KWF? Any thoughts on the matches would be greatly appreciated.

CHF and FF gone from last years side. If tasmans all improve as we think they should it might be them and the rangers fighting it out for fourth spot. By no means are MRFC assured of a finals berth.

rangers and roosters will be fighting out for last position

I myself dont like to make rash statements like that so i honestly have no idea who will finish last.
I havnt played in a premiership but what has that got to do with anything? You have just proven that winning a premiership proves jacksh@t about your knowledge of the game, you still are a dumbarse when it comes to sport.

I, however, am the King of Rash Statements, as a few past beer-fuelled posts will attest to.

Ladder positions at the end of the year:
MPFC
MRFC
WFC
TFC
BFC
LSFC

I think it will be MR v W for the flag (Mallee's going out in straight sets), with W winning.

Would put money on the Jerry-show to win the Medal.

Phil Dudley a shoe-in for the leading goalkicker.

And if he keeps his elbows down, K Hull could bring some silverware to Tigerland with the under 21.

And yes, I expect this to be dragged up mid September... ;)

will leave my ladder until I've seen Waybacks and Rangers.... Souths have gone up in my mind. Some others have slipped in my calculations. And OL you can delete that crap at the bottom of your posts..... and you know why!

Sensible approach TRR as it is, and always has been, nigh on pure guesswork before the season starts and especially it seems this year with an apparent large number of new boys in town and spread amongst the clubs.
However it is a talking point on this forum and fodder for a lot, especially for those that are so mightily biased towards their own clubs that they can't see past the end of their noses (or any other appendage for that matter) and rekn every other club stinks.
So lets have yours - it ain't going to hurt anybody
Personally I rekn it will be another very interesting year, as it was last year, and picking the winner will be an achievement and another talking point at the end of the year as alluded to by MP

ok steiger - for the sake of the exercise....

Mallee Park
Daylight

Marble Range
Wayback
South
Tasman
Boston

The fight for the third / fourth spot will be on right up until the last round. I expect Tasmans / Waybacks / Souths / Bostons to all be in contention for a finals spot with a couple of games to go.

I dont see (at this stage) a weak team - and I've named Tasmans and Bostons to finish out of the four..... they could quite easily play finals.

It's going to be a very close finish to the minor round.

People willl question Mallee Park - but the fact is that in the last two seasons only one club has beaten Mallee Park, and that's the Demons......and that has happened 4 times..... so unless another club has the answers then Mallees will contnue to dominate.

That's my opinion anyway.....

I think 2 things are certain this season Peckers top 2, Tigers bottom 2. As for the rest it will all come down to injuries/luck/and good football. I would not put daylight between the peckers and the field, they will be challenged.

Now thats better and No I won't say anything about anyones predictions until September, will we MP
However I dare say we will hear from a couple of others fairly soon (the ones with the aforementioned appendages)

So ol if I have a $1 bet on everybody except MP, I can't lose - just have to hope like hell Mallees don't make it and hope like hell Bostons win. Not such a bad bet is it ?

steiger I am sure you wouldnt want your $5 tied up all winter just to get $5 back when waybacks or $7 back if your beloved rangers win the flag plus risking the peckers not to win it. bostons are just making up the numbers.
I am sure AG would take that bet, minimum bet $500 ;)
