North Melbourne were 0-3 in 2007 and made the finals. Adelaide will bounce back sooner rather than later.
Won't finish bottom 4.

Players like Edwards, Burton, Mcleod, Doughty and Goodwin were a yard quicker back then. Don't forget that they have lost to 3 teams that everyone tipped to finish outside the 8. So their draw gets harder from here.

Really need to beat Carlton this week with the Doggies to come in Round 5.
Perhaps FantaPants is right with his estimation that the Crows may have over-achieved in recent years? I dont think this is the case, injuries ruined this season for Adelaide before it began. I remember writing last September that Bock will struggle in 2010 because of his late start to the pre-season on the back of last years heel injury.
Tyson Edwards has had no influence in the games I have seen and Doughty has been dreadful.

I think people still forget that there are some pretty inexperienced blokes in the side too. Take out the 4 oldies and how many others have played 100+ games?
Not making excuses, just suggesting that when you don't have the runs on the board yet it can cause you to struggle mentally when the chips are down. Vince, Mackay, Tippett, Walker - all expected to be matchwinners already and that kind of pressure is bloody tough to deal with when you're only 19/20/21. Throw in a few injuries to key experienced heads and a slide in form from the old fellas and you've got the mess we're facing right now.
I think many fans, including myself, wanted to believe that they could give it a shake this year, but in reality maybe we're still at least 12 months off it.
Who knows, there's 19 games left and that's plenty of time to turn it around. I'm concerned, don't get me wrong, but there's a ****load of footy left yet and the squad has a lot of talent, they showed it in the second half of last year.
