Not good news for any club. Good player from the few times that we have seen them. A real loss to the competition as well as Para hills. You still have the players to cover him in many ways though and would still be big favourites to slug it out with about 3 or 4 other sides on the last saturday in september. Portland, the Lakers, PAOC and maybe Seaton and Iggies or CBC.

Not good for anyone - best wishes for a good recovery
Went out to Marion oval today and watch a very impressive Smosh give Mitcham a 10 goal beating.
Bad news for No Mercy is that both coaches were present for the lions - sorry mate back to wrriying about your own back yard!
wrriying, can you fill me in on what that means? I'm happy for you & your club you have coaches that have finally decided to roll up for the game. It was becoming embarrassing for SMOSH having training & trial games without their no.1 coaches. Actually its more than that.

Think he means worry no mercy. Think he means that you should worry about your mob first although, i know where you are coming from as there has been a bit of a shambles accordingly to a few members at Marion today without having Minners and Micky around for training and matches, so you do have a point and not lost on mnay of us. Minners had want to turn up to more sessions than he does to keep the peace with the playing group. On a sad note was Timmy Ginever going down with a calf injury in by half time in the B Grade game today and before i got there. Timmy might even take over from Minners if he does not got to training was the word around today. Not good with only a few weeks to go.
I've heard the same rumour Top End regarding Minners & Tim Ginever. Also the B grade coach M Tomeo is basically running the show for f..k all $$, actually its $0, he too could be taking a walk if their not carefull. My mail is the clubs taking advantage of Tomeo's soft nature.

All will be well at the Lions no mercy. Think you are having too much to say at the moment really and it does not concern you. Sure there might have been the odd problem but you are making it sound like it might be fixed on on the field : we will smash ya. Bring on when we play you ferrals. I only said there was gossip that Timmy might take over from Minners when you have made it far worse than it is. Please stop it and worry about your own.

Massive loss for PH if thats the case. If all the rumoured outs plus the injury Shane Hanson are true, PH could be in abit of strife. I heard that Pooraka were first to the ball and leading by 4-6 goals all day and then PH turned up/Pooraka took the foot off the pedal in the last quarter and PH kicked 4 -6 goals, to make the final scores tied. Good signs for Pooraka for 2010, Little bit worrying for Para Hills

Its a trial game mate, the end result isnt always what matters. We had 8-12 A graders unavailable which meant nearly half our side was B graders. And Jake Levy and Shane Hanson went off injured early in the game aswell. So winning was always going to be a tough task when over half your side is either injured or unavailable.
Wont giddy up at all no mercy. Worry about yourself and we will worry about all our problems with our coaching staff. Maybe Minners has some trouble but thats for us to work out. To much to say about us and not your own club and having about 5 or 6 players misisng with injury until about half way through the year, from what we are told. Yes a few of us watched the last quarter and a bit and chatted with a few of your members and b graders. Cant wait until the first round clash. You will get hammered if we play half as well as we did against mitcham at st micks college.

Great win by the Lions today. Won by 81 points against an ordinary Mitcham unit. Back on track now and will push Para Hills for the Flag now. To get Minners and Mick back was great and the form of little Callum Masson in the mids and big Lyndon Parham in Ruck or full forward will put fear into all sides. Has a suspect left shoulder by the looks tho. Good to see Ian Ralston released from FB into the Ruck and down field. Great clubman and a great leader for Minners this year. Now I am sure we can match para hills, portland and PAOC and Seaton if they are around the mark as well. Mitcham ordinary and wont make it.
Hey mercy. Who you going to have to look after Callum Masson or big Lyndon Parham or Ian Ralston. Robbie Fraser did not even play and you know how good he is as you pinched him from us a few years back. Your midfield hacks wont catch Callum Masson or the other guns in the centre. Found out today Timmy did not do a calf or injured just came off before half time

Thats a big call Top End not sticking up for No Mercy but Im sure he has got a few cattle that can control those boys!! Parham is subject to physical pressure if I remember correctly so maybe a little roughing up early will make him vanish! How are Cibich, White, Edwards and the younger guys travelling Top End??
Portland had a great hitout saturday at Kilburn against PHOS in what was a warm day! Boys went down by a goal or 2 in the end but was a great effort against a quality side! Portland led early but the class of PHOS caught up with them in the end.
David Gough played both the A's and B grade games, was excellent in the B's, not to sure how he went in the A's, didnt see him to much (not to mean he may not have played well) definately a chance to play A's I think, will definately push for a spot and put pressure on the A grade midfielders!
No Mercy appears to be an expert on every other club around the place, should stick to his own club and worry about that first.
Also funny how No Mercy comes back to coach when Seaton are at rock bottom.. Suppose he likes to be seen as the Messiah that got them back on their feet, however, where was he when they going divisions... Funny about that... Did he not site health reasons?? He was always healthy enough to be drinking cans watching Port Magpies play their Sunday games!!

goughy did all the right things in the A grade and im reasonable confident he will play As, over the last 2 years we have been lacking a quick crumbing forward and he definatly adds that, obviously after playing in the Bs then buttering up playing As straight after, without playing footy for 2 years or something like that he obviously wasnt going to dominate but the coaches were definatly impressed with his leg speed. was a good hitout on the weekend, both sides missing plenty of players so cant really judge were we are at yet. really looking forward to seeing round 1 results around the grounds

that is a massive loss for PH if true. they wont have a chance at beating any top sides without him. that was there main strength last year; their forward line. without him is nothing special.

Cibich or Edwards or Fraser, did not play at st micks v mitcham, while Sam White played. Young uns OK: not getting much more out of me than that. Few to come back in.

Haha, I played alot of my junior footy with those boys, up until we finished school so Im well aware of what there capable of No need to be so secretive Top End was just curious to see how they are travelling?!

cibich, and Edwards*(williams) both had cricket so werent available, white only played a half but looked in good shape; played a bit more up the ground than usual, and seemed to enjoy it. minners is obviously throwing every1 around a bit and learning about his players... expect to see a pretty different SMOSH this year.
cibich played last week v phos at thebarton and was super.
